Record cover design for the Swiss electronic music label EICA Records.
This project is an experiment on how to depict electronic music using an analogue approach.
The process consisted of retaking analogue elements (such as patterns, symbols, logos, etc.) directly on the engines, instruments and tools used by the musicians. The elements are then multilayered together, playing with abstraction and scale differences and screen-printed on special skin touch, chromolux and extra-rough papers. The result is a series of recognisable covers from a systematic approach.
Partly realised.
